Captain Jim Kennedy is pleased when he is elected as the new captain of the luxury liner "Sun Princess". Kennedy has just completed a recent divorce behind her and looks for a new challenge. Reunion- Serie zu der 80er Jahre Hitserie "Love Boat" mit neuem Schiff, der Sun Princess, und neuer Besatzung. In dieser Neuauflage sind die Charaktere und die Folgen mehr auf die amüsante Art geschrieben worden, als in dem Original. Die Serie hatte wie die Originalserie sowie lukrative Gaststars, wie z.B. die gesamte Original-Love Boat Crew in ihren alten Rollen oder den Ausserirdischen "ALF". Trotz massiver Fanproteste wurde die Serie wegen schlechter Einschaltquoten nach der 2. Staffel eingestellt.

Reunion series of the 80s hit series "Love Boat" with a new ship, the Sun Princess, and a new crew. In this new edition are the characters and the impact on the more amusing way been written, as in the original. The series was like the original series as well as lucrative guest stars, such as the entire original Love Boat crew in their old roles, or the alien "ALF". Als dann als besonderer Gag der Reise elektronische Funkrufgeräte an die Gäste ausgegeben werden, die mögliche und interessierte Partner anpiepsen, kommt es zu einigen Verwechslungen unter den jungen Paaren.
