Es gibt ja von vielen TV-Serien und Filmen  Nachbau-Modellautos, auch VEGA$ war da keine Ausnahme.

Die Firma CORGI brachte für den US- und den UK-Markt Dan Tannas roten 1957ger Ford Thunderbird auf den Markt in der Größe eines Matchboxautos!

Mir ist es vor einiger Zeit gelungen, ein Exemplar davon zu sichern - sogar noch original verpackt.

Hergestellt wurde er in England im Jahre 1978, genauer gesagt von der "The Mettoy CO. LTD in Northampton. Diesen Artikel muß es mindestens 2 Jahre gegeben haben, denn bei mir steht in der Herstellung das Jahr 1980 an der Stelle drauf, wo bei dieser Abbildung 1978 steht.

Selbstverständlich habe ich ihn in der Originalverpackung gelassen und verwahre ich ganz sorgfältig :)

Natürlich gab es sein 57ger T-Bird auch in einem 1:18 Maßstab. Sogar mit Dan Tanna als Fahrer drin (zwar nicht sonderlich gut getroffen, aber immerhin). Leider habe ich den (noch) nicht, aber ich habe Bilder davon:

Of course, it may 57ger T-Bird was in a 1:18 scale. Even with Dan Tanna as a driver in it (though not particularly well made, but still). Unfortunately, I have to (yet), but I have pictures of it:

Gefunden hatt ich die Bilder vor einiger Zeit bei einer US eBay Auktion. Leider bot der Verkäufer den Modellwagen nur innerlandes an.

Once I had found the images some time ago in a U.S. eBay auction. Unfortunately, the vendor offered the model cars only within the country.

...natürlich wollen wir ja auch wissen, was unter der Haube des T-Birds so steckt ;)

PUZZLES

In den USA und England erschienen 1980 2 verschiedene Puzzles mit Serienmotiven. Leider besitze ich keines davon, kann euch aber Bilder zeigen:

Das erste hat 150 Teile, hat eine Größe von 25, 4 x 35,5 cm, wurde von der Firma PRO-IC (Jigsaw Puzzle) herausgebracht, wenn ich das richtig entziffern kann.

Auf dem unteren Bild könnt ihr sehen, wie es zusammengepuzzelt aussieht.

The first has 150 parts, has a size of 25, 4 x 35.5 cm, was obtained from PRO-IC (Jigsaw Puzzle) released, if I can decipher correctly.
On the picture below you can see how it looks puzzled.

Das zweite Puzzle hat ebenfalls 150 Teile und dieselben Maße wie das erste, wurde von derselben Firma veröffentlicht.

beide gefallen mir von den Motiven eigentlich ganz gut. Mal sehen, ob ich die  mal irgendwo auftreiben kann.

I like both of the subjects actually quite good. Let's see if I raise the time somewhere.
